These Terms & Conditions apply to all products, services, quotations, supply, and installation works provided by Shutter Force. By accepting a quotation, booking an installation, or engaging our services, you agree to the following terms.
All materials, parts, equipment, and systems supplied and/or installed by Shutter Force remain the property of Shutter Force until full payment has been received.
The client must provide full, unrestricted access to the area where works are to be completed. If access is restricted, unavailable, or unsafe, Shutter Force reserves the right to postpone works or charge for lost time and associated costs.
It is the client’s responsibility to obtain all required approvals, permits, or permissions from councils, landlords, body corporates, heritage authorities, or any other governing bodies prior to installation.
Shutter Force accepts no responsibility for works that do not comply with third-party requirements where approval has not been obtained by the client.
Once materials or products are delivered to site, the risk transfers to the client.
Any loss, theft, or damage to materials, parts, or equipment—whether installed, stored, or awaiting installation—remains the responsibility of the client, unless caused directly by a Shutter Force representative.
Adequate storage space must be provided by the client unless otherwise agreed. Shutter Force takes no responsibility for goods after delivery to site. Replacement items will be supplied at an additional cost.
The client must provide access to power, water, and amenities at a reasonable distance from the point of work.
A standard 240V power supply must be available within 25 metres of the installation area.
If Shutter Force is unable to access the site or is turned away for any reason, we are not obligated to return at a later date.
The client may be charged for works completed or, where a substantial portion of the work has been undertaken, the full contract amount.
Return visits may be arranged at an additional cost if requested by the client.
Shutter Force reserves the right to stop or postpone works if unsafe or hazardous conditions are identified on the client’s property.
The client may be liable for costs incurred up to the time of stoppage and for any additional labour or rectification costs required to address safety concerns.
Works may be postponed and rescheduled if weather conditions (such as rain or high winds) prevent safe installation.
No additional cost will apply for weather-related rescheduling within the local service area.
All blinds, shutters, and screens are manufactured square and installed level.
Gaps may occur due to structural variations such as uneven walls, roofs, or concrete slabs. These conditions are beyond our control, and Shutter Force will not be held responsible for such variations.
Shutter Force does not perform electrical work.
Any electrical connections, modifications, or power supply requirements after installation are the sole responsibility of the property owner and must be carried out by a licensed electrician.
Shutter Force is not liable for any damage, loss, injury, or death resulting from misuse, tampering, modification, or unauthorised alteration of products supplied or installed by us.
Shutter Force reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website.
